The Sina Brufani, which opened in 1884, was the first and is still the only luxury 5-star hotel dominating historic downtown Perugia, with sweeping views of Umbria’s green valleys

Located in the heart of the medieval city close to the Cathedral, the Fontana Maggiore fountain, the National Gallery and Corso Vannucci with its elegant shops, the Sina Brufani is the perfect starting point from which to set out and explore Umbria.

The hidden gem of the Sina Brufani is the stunning wellness area which has a swimming pool under medieval vaults. This has a lighted transparent foundation that reveals the ruins of an ancient Etruscan settlement dating back to over 3,000 years ago.
